ATC offers expert medical and rehabilitation management to the Jeff and Diane Ross Movement Disorder Clinic at Baycrest.

The ATC multi-disciplinary  Movement Disorders program includes neurologists, nurse specialists, dietitian, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, pharmacists, social service workers as well as a technical team who devises innovative control interfaces with computers that allow patients to communicate effectively and live independently and with dignity in their home environment.

Individualized educational sessions and innovative rehabilitation treatment programs focus on improving functional abilities to empower those living with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders to cope with their daily challenges and to improve their quality of life. Aside from our innovative Gait and Balance program, we also offer other unique treatment programs such as a spasticity management clinic and an established cognitive communication program.

Live Well With Parkinson’s is a website that was developed in collaboration with ATC, the Jeff and Diane Ross Movement Disorder Clinic and George Brown College to impart knowledge regarding Parkinson’s disease to the general public and medical and allied health professionals.
